The Global Mental Health 2025 study is a 90-country survey of well-being. We are asking people around the world to answer 20 simple questions on their mental, social, and financial health, with no agenda other than to report the results. The PI of the study is Dr Kai Ruggeri (Columbia University, USA) with senior co-leaders Ms Sofia Pelica (Vrije University Amsterdam, The Netherlands) and Dr Sarah Ashcroft-Jones (Columbia University). All aspects of this study are anonymous; no personally identifiable information is requested. Study results will be reported through peer-review channels and the entirely anonymous dataset will be made available for public use after completion and cleaning. No risks are involved in the the study. The only goal is to report how people are doing around the world.
